ONE DIRECTION NAIL ART!!! :D

Hey Guys! Today I was just surfing on the internet and I found this super cute nail art inspired in the handsome guys of One Direction. It´s really easy considering you don´t have to draw their faces or something like that. I did this on my sister´s nails so maybe this are the worst photos you will ever see. Sorry! But I hope you understand. Comment if you have any question.

I took the original design from  http://victoriac7.tumblr.com/post/19470036509/one-direction-nails-i-just-couldnt-help. It used to have  Zayn´s cross-fingered arm tattoo on the pointer finger but as my sister has really short nails, we changed it for a Liam´s shirt pattern. I´ll show you how to draw Zayn´s tattoo anyway. :D

Materials you will need.:

Base Coat and Top coat.

For 1D logo: red and white polish.

For Zayn´s tatto: Nude and black polish.

For British flag: Blue, Red and white polish.

For Louis outfit: White, Nude and Black polish.

For Irish flag:Orange, Green and White polish.

If your prefer Liam´s shirt pattern instead of the Zayn´s tatto, you will need:

Light blue, Red, White and Black polish.

Tools you will also need: (remember you can use whatever you find in your house that work)

Dotting tool, nail art brushes.


Instructions: :D

1.- Apply a base coat to protect your nails.
2.- Apply a red base in your thumb, a nude base in your index finger, a blue base for middle finger and white base for ring finger and pinky :)

3.- You want to make sure they dry perfectly before you start decorating.
4.-  I started with my sister´s pinky with the Irish flag (Niall)
For this one, you can use some tape for the lines to be completely straight.
Cut the tape as wide as you want the white color to be and paste it at the middle of the nail. Just like this:

 Then, paint the cuticle side with the orange polish and the other side with the green one. When you are sure it´s completly dry, you can take the tape off.

5.- For Zayn´s tatto.
It´s a little hard to draw it if have short nails or if you´re not very pacient but if you follow this pattern, it can be a little easier.

6.- If you realized Zayn´s tatto is too hard for you, then you can make Liam´s shirt pattern.
Paint your index finger nail with a light blue polish. Let it dry. carfully, draw the shirt following this drawing:

Then, make a gingham design with white and red polish. Just like this:

7.- British flag.
An easy way to explain how to draw it is making crosses.

Just in the center of the white line, draw a red line. You will have something like this:

8.- For Louis Outfit.

Just draw a nude line on the nail tip and a half-circle on the cuticle side.

Then, you can draw some buttons and straps.

9.- For one direction logo. Just make to lines across the nail and draw a numer 1 and D. Just like this:

10.- Apply top coat and YOU´RE DONE!! :D
