Dotting Tools.! Buy them or DIY.

Hi sweethearts. As I said on my last entry, I´m talking about dotting tools for nail art. If you want me to ask questions about this, just comment. :D

I want to tell you I´m a big Nail Art fan and I´m always buying nail art stuff but maybe you like to decorate your nails and you´re not always able to find this products.

The first dotting tool I wanna talk about is the one I own. I bought it some months ago at the Sally Beauty Supply and it was about 20 pesos. You can make two different kinds of dots with this tool and I have to say it´s really cute too!

Another nice and cheap dotting tool is the one you can find in Avon. It´s also about 20 pesos but you can only make 1 kind of dot and I think it´s not as functional as the Sally one.

As I told you before, I bought my dotting tool just a few months ago. I didn´t  have one so I used to make them by myself. I´m going to show you some DIY dotting tools.

NUMER ONE.

Material:

A pencil with eraser.
A sewing  pin.

This is really easy. Just take the pin and stuck it on the eraser.
Voila! YOU HAVE A NEW DOTTING TOOL!

NUMER TWO.

Material:

A bobby pin.

Just take the bobby pin and open it. You can use both sides to make dots.

NUMER THREE.

Materials:

A pen or a pencil  (a pencil with eraser works better)
A bobby pin
A sewing pin.
Tape.

Put together the pencil and the bobby pin on one side of the pencil  and on the other, do the same but with the sewing pin. Just like this:

NUMBER FOUR.

MATERIAL:

A toothpick
scissors.

You can use the toothpick just using the tip it has or cutting it to make bigger dots.

Cute Flowers Nail Art. Easy!!

Hey Guys!! so Today I´m uploading my first entry in my new Blog and I´m going to be showing you how to make this cute Nail Art. Hope you enjoy it!!



Materials you will need:

Base Coat
Top coat

Brown polish
green polish
White polish
yellow polish
pink polish

Dotting Tool.
If you are not pacient at all, you can use Essence Nail Art express dry drops.


Procedure:

1.- Apply Base Coat. This is very important to avoid any damage on your nails.
2.- Apply a white coat and make sure it´s as perfect as posible.




Well, it doesn´t have to be absolutly perfect but you want to be sure you have a flat surface.

3.- Start doing yellow dots in a flower-like shape.

You can do as many flowers as you want. Consider you are going to have yellow and pink flowers.

4.- Repeat step 3 but with pink polish.

5.- Make little brown dots just at the middle of the flowers.

6.- Make some green lines between the flowers.




7.- Let them dry and apply top coat. And you´re done!!! :)
